Back in 2025 Amazon and Martin Gero announced a revived effort to bring Stargate back to production with a new series that connects to existing fans and to draw in new fans to the series. There was a lot of excitement about the announcement of something moving forward after many years of the Gate being closed.
Then in June of 2026, Amazon announced it would be canceling the series that it had ordered. The announcement came following a change in leadership.
I haven’t done much with this website, however I think this is a great topic to post to the website. In keeping Stargate alive as well as the memory of Mr. Joel Goldsmith.
